Why let pie have all the fun this holiday season, let them eat egg nog cake!

Servings: Makes one (8- or 9-inch) cake

Cake:
1 (18 1/2-ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 cup BORDEN® EggNog
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 tablespoons rum or 1 teaspoon rum extract
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Frosting:
1 (8-oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 (16-oz.) package sifted confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons BORDEN® EggNog
Yellow Food Coloring
Strawberry Bon Bons, (optional)

Cake Instructions: Preheat oven to 350ºF. In large bowl, combine all ingredients. Beat at medium speed 3 minutes. Pour into 3 well-greased and floured 8- or 9-inch square or round cake pans.

Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans.

Cool completely. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting (recipe follows).

Frosting Instructions: In small bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar. Add BORDEN® EggNog, 1/2 teaspoon at a time. Stir in food coloring. Fill and frost cake layers. If desired, decorate with Strawberry Bon Bons (optional). Store leftovers covered.
